PAYMENT METHODS
The payment method accepted on the website is credit card. Payment instalments are an option! Just select it from the drop down box next to payment option.
If you would like to pay by cash, cheque or e-transfer, we’ve got you. Just email ksc.register@kmsports.ca for details on how to make that happen.
VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT
At checkout you will be prompted to select a volunteer job to fulfill your volunteer requirements for this season. We have pre-loaded some of our recurring volunteer positions however there will be several more as the season starts up, including many positions for the Winter Classic competition taking place March 1-3, 2024. By selecting a volunteer job at checkout (and by following through on that job when it occurs during the season) you will have fulfilled your volunteer requirement for the season. If the job is not completed and you do not fill another task, you will be invoiced at the end of the season. If you are interested in volunteering for something not yet posted (or are simply unsure of what you can commit to at this time) please choose the option to ADD SUGGESTED SUBSCRIPTIONS, select the VOLUNTEER NON-COMPLETION FEE. Leave the checkout payment option set to the default of INSTALMENTS. The volunteer payment is set for April 1, 2024. Once you have completed your volunteering during the season, that fee will be deleted and never charged.
SKATE CANADA MEMBERSHIP
In the past the Skate Canada Fee was worked into the Registration fees. With this new system it is separate. The Skate Canada fee will automatically appear in your cart after you add your programs. No extra steps needed.
CANSKATE
1-DAY CanSkate price is $250
2-DAY CanSkate price is $330
We offer 1 and 2 day CanSkate programs spread over several morning and afternoon sessions. With this platform we can allow parents to select their preferred session days/times however by doing this each session is posted with the 1-day/week price. When you add 2 CanSkate days to your cart it will automatically discount the total down to our usual 2-day price ($330).
IF REGISTERING MORE THAN ONE CHILD IN CANSKATE, PLEASE REGISTER ONE CHILD, CHECKOUT, AND THEN REGISTER THE SECOND ONE. THIS WILL ENSURE ANY APPLICABLE DISCOUNTS ARE APPLIED CORRECTLY.
***While we will do our best to accommodate everyone’s selections, there may be slight adjustments to the afternoon schedules once all registrations are received in order to properly group skaters with peers of similar age and skill. Please be aware when registering that our beginner skaters (especially 3/4 year olds) will typically skate in the 4:00 time slot and older canskaters in the 4:45 spot.
WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY:
Withdrawals are accepted up until Dec. 31 with refunds of program fee pro-rated based on number of sessions skated. The Skate Canada fee may only be refunded if the child withdraws before the season starts. An administration fee of $25 will be applied to all refunds.
An EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT of $50 will be automatically applied at checkout to all regular season registrations received before July 20. If registering multiple children, please checkout separately for each one to receive the discount on each registration.
